Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Tablet Assisted Patrol in Durham, NC. You will provide unarmed security at a healthcare location, perform routine patrols, control access, and assist patients, visitors, and staff using our tablet-based tools.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and following established protocols.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directing individuals.
Document observations and incidents accurately and escalate concerns per site procedures.
