Begin with essential skills and progress with students, while adhering to YMCA guidelines and local background checks. Responsibilities include lesson planning, progress tracking, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 15 or older.
• Six months or more related experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic swimming skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare class lesson plans with progression for ages and abilities.
• Safely instruct swimming lessons per class level following YMCA guidelines.
• Complete accident and incident reports.
• Keep accurate records of attendance and skill progression.
