Job summary

Foss Swim School is hiring a part-time Swim Teacher in the United States to help students build confidence and lifelong water-safety skills with paid training and ongoing support.

The role offers part-time, year-round hours (minimum 10–12 hours per week), typically 3 shifts, with weekday evenings and weekend availability. Starting pay is $19.50/hour, with increases through training, plus weekend bonuses and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warm indoor pool.
• Part-time, year-round availability with 10–12 hours per week minimum.
• Weekday evenings and weekends availability.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons using the FOSS Swim Path curriculum to 1–4 students.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment and build student confidence.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and teammates.
• Adapt lessons to individual needs while maintaining safety.
• Bring a reliable, professional attitude to every lesson and assist learners.
