Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking a Part-Time Adjunct instructor to teach in the Surgical Technology program at the Rockford campus. This role allows you to continue practicing in the field while entering academia, with training provided for teaching delivery.

Adjunct Faculty report to an Academic Dean and are expected to engage students, collaborate with the Dean, and contribute to program development and accreditation needs.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred (Minimum 3 years in the field).
• Clinical preceptor experience preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surgical technology coursework with professional communication to students.
• Be available for student questions via phone, email, or meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with Dean and University staff for accreditation needs and records.
• Maintain professional conduct and appropriate attire at all times.
