Job summary

Rasmussen University seeks a Part-Time Adjunct instructor to teach Surgical Technology at our HENNEPIN/ANOKA campus. The role lets you continue practice in the field while joining academia and guiding the next generation of Surgical Technologists.

No prior teaching experience is required; training is provided. Adjunct Faculty will report to an Academic Dean and contribute to teaching effectiveness, curriculum development, and student support.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred (Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of study).
• Clinical preceptor experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, and peers.
• Must provide official transcripts for each degree earned.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with students and supervise Deans or other University staff related to teaching and learning.
• Be available for students via phone, email and for individual appointments as needed for questions and academic assistance.
• Respond to Dean/University staff regarding performance, student issues or accreditation needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional behavior, language, demeanor and dress at all times.
• Attend faculty meetings and complete professional development requirements.
