Job summary

Five Below in Phoenix is seeking a Support Lead to help run daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. This part-time role trains crew, oversees duties, and acts as Manager on Duty when needed.

You will open/close the store, assist with receiving, support onboarding, drive sales, and collaborate with the leadership team. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare for daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by improving merchandising and customer service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stocking.
