Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate in Veazie, ME to manage branch inventory and support B2B operations. The role includes procurement tasks, quoting, and coordinating resources to meet customer needs.

The position offers a part-time schedule (8:00am–2:00pm, Mon–Fri) with potential flexibility after onboarding, and involves occasional vehicle deliveries from the Veazie location.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in a relevant field OR customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
