Job summary

Fastenal Co. Auburn, ME 04210 is seeking a Part-time Supply Chain Associate to help manage branch inventory, handle procurement and quoting, and support our customers’ needs.

You will coordinate resources, assist accounts receivable, and may make deliveries with a company vehicle. The shift is Mon-Fri 8:00am–2:00pm, up to 28 hours per week, with potential schedule flexibility after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to drive a company vehicle.
• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in related field or have customer service/industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude and attention to detail
• Demonstrate organization and prioritization abilities
• Pass drug screen where applicable
• Pass background check per customer requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels
• Administer procurement functions including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimate/quote prices and source product
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Support accounts receivable activities
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success
