Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual and maintains a clean driving record.

This part-time, non-exempt role requires meeting licensing and background check requirements, passing drug tests, and supporting the Director with classroom activities if agreed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a regular driver's license; CDL with passenger endorsement may be required for larger vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in five years.
• Age 21–80; additional documentation may be required for drivers over 75.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed
• Assist students entering/exiting and ensure safety throughout
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if approved by Director
