Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) seeks a part-time Student Support Counselor to provide direct counseling services to RCBC students. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, case management, and coordination with campus resources to support student experiences and retention.
The role requires a Master’s in Social Work with an active or pending NJ LCSW, and eligibility for IFI and Supervisor certification within 3 months.
The Student Support Counselor will provide direct counseling services to RCBC students through either behavior alerts or self-identification. The counselor will support the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of all student mental health counseling services with the goal of supporting students with their overall student experiences. This position provides professional behavioral health counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services to students in a diverse community college environment.

Minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, with a current or pending LCSW in the State of New Jersey. IFI certification and Supervisor certification are required or eligibility for credentialing within 3 months of hire.
Dual licensure in NJ NY/PA
Minimum of 3 years of experience providing mental health counseling, education, crisis intervention, and consultation services.
Collaborates with department members and/or the Compliance, Assessment and Research team to support planning, assessment, data collection and reporting for continuous improvement of the college.
