Job summary

East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT) is seeking a data‑driven, highly organized Student Success Coordinator to manage daily operations of the ACES middle school program and track metrics showing student growth.

This in‑person, part‑time role focuses on attendance, engagement data, family communication, and coordinating tutoring, tennis, and enrichment activities to support college and career readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth, families, schools, or community programs preferred.
• Goal-driven, highly organized, and motivated.
• Engaging, creative, and team-oriented.
• Proficient with basic data entry, tracking, and reporting.
• Spanish/English bilingual strongly preferred.
• Must pass required background checks and clear checks.
• College diploma or in progress preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance, participation, and engagement records.
• Track student academic growth indicators (grades, test scores, study skills, SEL milestones, and college/career ideation).
• Identify trends and flag students falling behind academically, in attendance, or in engagement.
• Deliver regular data summaries to the ACES team to inform intervention.
• Run a structured daily schedule balancing tutoring, tennis, homework support, and enrichment.
• Create engaging lessons and programming activities to develop study skills and motivation.
• Coordinate logistics with tutors, TEMs, tennis staff, and EPATT personnel.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues.
• Coordinate extracurricular activities monthly or quarterly.
• Communicate with parents about attendance, schedules, and events.
• Process new and returning family registration and enrollment.
• Follow up on absences and disengagement.
• Onboard volunteers and match them to students/staff.
• Represent EPATT at community events and recruitment tables.
• Measure success through student growth metrics and readiness indicators
