Job summary

Arizona Western College's Matador Activity Center seeks a part-time Student Engagement and Events Assistant to support daily operations and student activities.

You will provide front-line customer service at the MAC front desk, assist with event setup, promotions, and attendance tracking, and help ensure safe, welcoming spaces across campus. Flexible hours up to 19 per week; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma and 2-3 years of customer service experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to follow FERPA and privacy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Front desk customer service at MAC; manage check-in/out and IDs.
• Assist with setup and takedown of events; manage AV; help with scheduling.
• Maintain safety; report incidents to staff; support emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with the Coordinator on events and promotions; assist with flyers and data collection.
• Support strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
