Job summary

Midland College seeks a part-time Student Life intern to assist in planning and promoting co-curricular activities on campus. You will work with volunteers, faculty, and staff to organize programs, support the Chap Pantry, and staff the front desk during open pantry days.

The role emphasizes student engagement, event design, and coordinating with Student Activities staff to execute contracts with vendors. Must be enrolled and able to work within campus hours.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
• Basic computer skills expected.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work with volunteers, organization leaders, and MC faculty and staff to organize all programs and events.
• Aid the Chap Pantry with organizing, cleaning, and inventory.
• Available for open pantry day check-ins and work the desk.
• Design and conduct educational, diverse, and entertaining events.
• Manage events including student group activities, involvement fairs, fundraisers, and socials; coordinate with SA interns and vendors.
• Assist in maintenance of eSports Arena and front desk operations.
