Job summary

The College of Eastern Idaho is seeking a Part-Time Student Life Coordinator to support the development, coordination, and implementation of student life programs that promote engagement, connection, and retention on campus.

Reporting to the Director of Student Life, you will assist with event planning, student clubs, outreach efforts, and on-site support for campus programs. This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (or in progress) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Experience in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
• Knowledge of creating basic marketing materials using Canva, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and manage multiple tasks.
• Must reside in Idaho (CEI does not sponsor visas).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate student life events and activities.
• Provide on-site support for campus programs and events.
• Support student clubs and student leadership groups.
• Assist with Student Senate and leadership activities.
• Promote engagement through outreach and campus communications.
• Maintain records, reports, and program materials.
• Assist with purchasing and preparing event supplies.
• Collaborate with campus departments and community partners.
• Supervise student employees and volunteers during events.
• Ensure activities comply with college policies.
