Job summary

The College of Southern Idaho is seeking a Work-Based Learning Coordinator to deliver career support to CSI students and manage communications to ensure a positive learning experience.

You will lead career coaching sessions, assist with resumes and mock interviews, coordinate internship connections, and track outcomes in CRM systems while collaborating with campus partners. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous student advising or coordinating experience preferred.
• Great at planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Strong, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Career Coaching Sessions: Provide meaningful career coaching sessions to help students, alumni, and other community members develop a career plan.
• Student Support: Utilize career tools to help individuals explore a career pathway and assess plans.
• Student Retention: Regular follow-up with Apprenticeship students to improve the learning experience and meet goals.
• Career/Hiring Events: Participate in career fairs based on industry need.
• Internship Connection: Vet internship positions and help students with LinkedIn profiles and resumes.
• Resume Assistance: Edit, rewrite, or format resumes and cover letters; conduct resume workshops.
• Mock Interviews: Provide feedback on interview strategies and skills.
• Job Post Requests: Screen and process job postings to ensure local opportunities.
• Collaboration and Connection: Work with departments across campus for student transitions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records in CRM systems.
