Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver to transport students and volunteers safely between sites. You must be punctual, maintain a clean driving record, and comply with all safety policies.

Qualified applicants will hold a valid driver’s license, CDL-P endorsement for large vehicles, and meet age and background check requirements. The role is part-time with responsibilities including classroom volunteering as approved.

Qualifications

• Must have mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active church involvement aligned with LifeWise faith.
• Regular driver’s license; continuous licensing for past 3 years.
• CDL with Passenger endorsement for 15+ passenger vehicles; 15-passenger van requires no special license.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to/from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students with entry/exit and monitor behavior.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if approved by Director.
