Job summary

Five Below is seeking an engaged store leadership teammate to wow customers and train crew. You will oversee daily operations, assist with receiving, and act as Manager on Duty to ensure smooth opening/closing, cash handling, and alarm security.

You will drive sales through merchandising decisions and staff performance, while maintaining excellent guest experiences. Strong communication, multitasking ability, and a calm demeanor under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day/evening/weekends/overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members provide WOW customer service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and manages staff.
• Assists with receiving and stocking to keep floor stocked efficiently.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and handles store operations and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures including cash, alarms, and safety.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Performs routine store maintenance and cleanups.
• Collaborates with leadership on merchandising and store recovery.
