Job summary

Lids Sports Group in Ogden, Utah is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will support the Store Manager in scheduling, training, and coaching with a focus on achieving KPIs and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

This role offers a dynamic retail setting at a flagship sports fashion retailer with strong brand partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up when Store Manager is not present.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline, including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment while adhering to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates to work during unexpected peaks.
• Participate in LIDS Training Programs, adhere to goals, and follow-up.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property.
• Other duties as assigned.
