Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with store functions and day-to-day activities, help customers in a positive, approachable manner, organize merchandise, and support opening/closing procedures. This role requires strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment with strong customer focus.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and follow corporate directives.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping, and payroll/scheduling.
• Support loss prevention and ensure store areas are neat and presentable.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
