Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, handle opening/closing procedures, and supervise frontline associates to maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs; frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing and pushing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
