Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day activities, merchandising, and maintaining clean, organized spaces across the sales floor and stockroom.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and store management experience in retail. You will help organize, train staff, and uphold safety and company policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform typical store duties including standing, walking, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Support merchandising and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
