Navy Exchange in San Diego is seeking a part-time Store Worker in the Stocking Dept at the Home Store on the naval base. You will perform loading, unloading, and stocking duties, verify merchandise against documents, and assist in layaway transfers between store and warehouse.

You may also help customers locate items and occasionally operate a cash register. Training includes HazMat within 90 days; position offers benefits and a flexible schedule.

Formación

• Six months experience performing loading, unloading and verifying merchandise.
• Hazardous Materials (HazMat) training within 90 days of hire per DoT regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload merchandise; inspect for damage or shortages and verify against documentation.
• Identify layaway items and move to designated warehouse areas; stack per procedures.
• Unpack, stock shelves, and price stamp merchandise if required.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer general questions; operate a cash register occasionally.
• Follow supervisor instructions; ensure accuracy and orderliness of storage and sales areas.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
