Navy Exchange's Navy Lodge North Island in San Diego area is seeking a part-time Laborer to support lodging operations and guest services. You will assist with loading merchandise, helping guests with luggage, and maintaining clean outdoor spaces. No prior experience required; HazMat training within 90 days is provided, and benefits apply.

This federal position offers competitive pay, paid leave, and retirement options. Work involves lifting up to 45 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Competenze

• HazMat training within 90 days of hire.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required.

Mansioni

• Lifts and carries patron’s purchases including merchandise and beverages from store to customer’s vehicle.
• May use hand truck or dolly to move cartons or cases.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas; picks up debris and trash.
• Picks up empty boxes/containers; moves to disposal area.
• Operates a compactor to crush boxes and prepares them for pickup.
• Prepares prefabricated containers for packing and mailing merchandise.
• Inspects property and notifies supervisor of needed repairs.
• Monitors parking areas for proper registration and non-compliance.
• Assists Front Desk with luggage, towels, and room setup.
• Maintains property cleanliness and may assist with grounds or repairs.
• Tracks and orders inventory for emergency supplies; reports to Facilities management.
