Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Ashwaubenon, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and help train and supervise Store Associates.

This part-time role requires strong communication, a high-energy, team-oriented approach, and the ability to handle merchandise, payroll records, and safety procedures while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or related environment preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash handling, receipts).
• Maintain a well-stocked and clean store, protect assets, and follow safety procedures.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a positive and respectful environment.
