Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and record keeping including payroll and cash handling.
• Protect store assets and cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
