Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, supervise and train associates, and help maintain a well-stocked sales floor, organized stockroom, and adherence to company policies while delivering exceptional service to customers.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, cash handling, and loss prevention supporting a positive, fast-paced work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive and approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store records.
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help supervise and develop store associates.
