Job summary

Dollar Tree in De Pere, Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions and help supervise and train store associates.

You will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintain product displays, manage cash handling, payroll, and scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies. This is a part-time position emphasizing teamwork and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and stockroom
• Protect assets, including store cash
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment
• Keep bathrooms and floors clean; restock as needed
• Other duties as assigned
