Job summary

Steps New York is seeking a part-time Keyholder to support daily store operations on-site in Edison, NJ. You will assist customers with product selections, provide styling suggestions, and help maintain an inviting sales floor and fitting rooms.

The role requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will participate in opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and training new team members to uphold brand standards and a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Strong retail sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to deliver a positive Customer Experience, including attentive assistance and problem solving.
• Clear and professional communication, both verbal and written.
• Previous retail or keyholder experience preferred, including basic cash handling.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and manage cash procedures.
• Ensure floor readiness and assist customers with styling and product selection.
• Maintain organized, clean sales floor and fitting room areas.
• Restock merchandise and monitor inventory levels.
• Support store management in driving sales and achieving goals.
