Job summary

At Home Group Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Operations Lead (PT) to support store processes and sales by maintaining company standards.

You will handle opening, closing, training, and delegation while promoting a safe, ethical, and efficient warehouse-style store environment. You will coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing, manage tasks, inventory, and freight, and to deliver a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs., and to move merchandise around a warehouse-format store.

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening, closing, and Front-End processes with accurate execution and readiness.
• Coordinate with ASMs to optimize staffing for traffic, sales, and customer experience.
• Plan and assign daily/weekly zone workload to meet store and sales goals.
• Support inventory control, safety, loss prevention, and customer experience for profitability.
• Drive productivity through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Lead daily team huddles to teach and reinforce topics affecting customer experience.
• Handle freight processes for incoming freight and transitions.
• Stock products on shelves including down stocking and end cap maintenance.
• Other duties as needed; open availability required (nights and weekends).
