Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandise Manager in Austin to oversee merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution while maintaining a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead workload planning with store leadership, manage stock movement, and support Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs, and ASN receiving.

Qualifications

3+ years of retail leadership experience.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and product flow to sales floor.
Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
Oversee Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to maintain in-stock levels.
Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
Manage pricing changes and promotional signage to be accurate and customer-focused.
Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping.
Manage RTVs and ASN receiving with proper inventory adjustments.
Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
