Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Round Rock, TX to drive merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities include supporting SOPs, leading store-wide adherence to policies, and providing Manager-on-Duty coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution, unloading and sorting to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain in-stock levels through Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement and RTV/ASN processes.
• Train, coach and develop team members through structured onboarding.
