Job summary

The Michaels Companies Erie store is seeking a Part Time Merchandising Manager to drive merchandising execution and store operations. You will oversee truck unloading, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions.

This role requires strong workload planning, stock integrity, and customer-ready presentation. Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, providing MOD coverage, overseeing ship-from-store fulfillment, RTV/ASN processes,

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage SOPs and company programs.
• Experience in price changes, planogram sets and inventory control.
• Availability for nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure policy compliance and accountability for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, integrity, and stock movements.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotional signage and product placement.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation and adjustments.
• Manage damages procedures and shrink reduction; train and develop team members.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
