Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, greet customers, organize merchandise, and help with opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and store areas.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
