Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver strong customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, safe store environment in Austin, Indiana.

This part-time, on-site role requires strong communication and leadership to support the Store Manager and ensure consistency with company policies and seasonal priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling stock areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
