Hot Topic in New York is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead the loudest store in the mall. You will support the Store Manager in hitting sales targets, recruiting, and staff development while creating an engaging customer experience.

You’ll drive promotions, manage store operations, and mentor a team of associates to deliver excellent service. The role pays $19–$21.85 per hour and is on-site in a mall environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and retain a team.
• Experience with store operations including payroll, scheduling, and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and targets.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Promote new products and engage customers through promotions and social media.
• Oversee operational soundness, balance of ops, delegation, and customer-first selling.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Communicate trends and feedback with retail leadership and HQ.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy.
• Merchandise the store using planograms and timely promos.
• Develop and coach your team to be high-performing and customer-focused.
