Job summary

Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2 to help lead the loudest store in the mall. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a team, while engaging customers with promotions, social media, and curbside options. You’ll balance operations with a customer-first selling approach.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail management experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong communication, recruiting, and staff development skills.
• Experience coordinating store operations and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving sales plans and comp goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team to run the store.
• Promote products and promotions, engage customers, and leverage curbside pickup/BOPIS.
• Provide leadership to ensure an operationally sound store with customer-first selling.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit targets.
• Merchandise the store using planograms and launch promos on time.
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.
