Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Lawrence is seeking a part-time Store Associate to support daily store operations and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. You will help move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor and maintain seasonal areas for visual appeal.

You will perform opening and closing tasks, process directives, and help keep fixtures, displays, and stock organized while prioritizing safety and customer service. A collaborative team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, etc.).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support in processing directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering and processing merchandise, records, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards.
