Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Waco, TX is seeking a Store Cleaning Associate to maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards, assist customers, and handle basic checkout tasks.

You will help customers locate products, participate in Omni channel processes, and support safety programs while upholding the brand promises. You will be required to perform deep cleaning in high-traffic areas and ensure positive interactions with team members and customers.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with cleaning solutions and equipment; may mix water and detergents.
• Deep cleans key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms and entryways.
• Performs tasks in accordance with SOPs and company policies.
