Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal Service Team Member for the Cedar Rapids - South store to assist customers, stock merchandise, and operate a fast, friendly checkout.

You'll help shoppers find items, participate in truck unload, shelf maintenance, and support store recovery to keep shelves in stock and visually appealing. This is a part-time role with varied shifts including evenings and weekends, and eligibility starts at 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in-store.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide solutions.
• Operate fast and accurate checkout and handle cash to standards.
• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain shelves (POGs) for a well-merchandised store.
• Support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in store recovery and shrink/safety programs.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
