J.Crew Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for our NEW STORE in Boca Raton, FL. You’ll partner with the Store Director to drive profitability through strong customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement, while coaching the sales team to peak performance.

You will help manage operations, recruit and train staff, and ensure exceptional service. The role requires scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays, to support store needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Strong customer service and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director and Associate Store Manager to impact business results with brand focus.
• Own designated divisions (e.g., Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Collaborate to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team consistently delivers best-in-class service and achieves goals.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost customer connection and conversion.
