Job summary

PACS is seeking a part-time Staffing/Scheduling role in healthcare. You will coordinate STNA and nursing schedules, fill open shifts, and maintain smooth staffing coverage while working with leadership to identify needs.

A friendly, organized, and flexible approach helps ensure residents receive proper care and staff feel supported. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, enjoys helping others, and can handle last-minute changes with professionalism and humor.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare, STNA, CNA, scheduling, or staffing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask.
• Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate STNA and nursing schedules and help fill open shifts.
• Communicate with STNAs and nurses about schedules, call-offs, and shift changes.
• Help keep staffing coverage running smoothly.
• Build positive relationships with our nursing team.
• Assist with finding coverage when unexpected call-offs happen.
• Keep staffing records and schedules organized and up to date.
• Work closely with leadership to identify staffing needs.
• Bring a positive attitude and a little calm to those “Who can cover this shift?” moments!
