Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Medical Records / Nursing Scheduler to help keep our nursing department staffed, organized, and running smoothly. You’ll build schedules, cover shifts, and coordinate call-offs to ensure coverage.

Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Healthcare experience is preferred, with STNA certification a plus and scheduling experience a bonus.

Qualifications

• Organized, dependable and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinker who can find solutions when shifts need covered.
• Able to multitask and handle changing priorities.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
• STNA certification is a plus!
• Scheduling experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Build nursing schedules to ensure proper staffing and coverage.
• Ensure daily building PPD requirements are met.
• Get creative when covering open shifts and staffing challenges.
• Coordinate call-offs, shift changes, and open shifts.
• Work closely with nursing leadership and staff to maintain coverage.
• Think outside the box to find staffing solutions.
• Maintain accurate and organized medical records.
• Monitor daily staffing needs and make adjustments as needed.
