Job summary

Ephraim Elementary School is seeking a part-time STEM Program Assistant to support K–5 instruction in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The role involves helping implement a balanced STEM program and providing instructional assistance within the classroom schedule.

You will collaborate with the principal and staff to coordinate STEM demonstrations and activities, promoting student engagement and cross-curricular learning in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate maturity, good judgment and emotional stability.
• Ability to assist with instructional program and monitor student behavior.
• Ability to operate office machines and perform routine record keeping.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English for job performance.

Responsibilities

• Teaches skills in STEM through activities, projects, and cross-curricular integration.
• Plans and executes a balanced STEM program within allotted time.
• Provides instructional support to students and groups.
• Supports classroom management systems and fosters harmonious student interactions.
• Coordinates STEM demonstrations or programs with principal and staff.
