Job summary

Mad Science of WI IL & MI is seeking part-time science instructors to deliver engaging workshops for youth from Pre-K to 6th grade. You will travel to schools, daycares or parks and recreation sites, leading one-hour lessons with full training and provided curriculum.

We provide all supplies, equipment and a ready-made curriculum; enjoy flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement while inspiring young minds with hands-on science experiences.

Qualifications

• Flexible, creative, engaging and have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Love children, science, teaching and/or acting.
• Own/have regular access to a car.
• Love the gig economy and non-traditional schedules.

Responsibilities

• Drive to a school, daycare or park and rec (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Lead a one-hour exciting, immersive science lesson after paid training.
