Job summary

Mad Science is seeking enthusiastic individuals to facilitate after-school science enrichment programs for elementary-age children. You will conduct 1-hour sessions weekly for 8 to 10 weeks using a preset curriculum, delivering high-energy, engaging activities that blend education with entertainment.

The role welcomes a fun, outgoing personality and requires some college along with a minimum two weekday afternoons after 2 p.m. availability, plus reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Some experience working with groups of elementary-age children.
• Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Must have reliable transportation (not public or ride share).
• All employees fingerprinted for criminal background checks.
• Some college.
• Have a fun and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum.
• Each session is a high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands‑on class that meets for one hour each week for 8‑10 weeks.
• Enjoy teaching young children the art of science!
• Occasional daytime programming if your availability allows.
