Job summary

Mad Science is seeking STEM Workshop Instructors to conduct engaging and interactive classroom instruction on various scientific topics using a pre-set curriculum and supplied materials.

This part-time role runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., typically delivering 2–3 one-hour workshops per day. You’ll pick up, transport, and maintain equipment while keeping safety and student engagement a priority. Fingerprinting and TB testing are required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching children in a classroom or camp environment.
• Available Monday–Friday between 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
• Fingerprinting and TB testing required.
• Have a fun outgoing personality.
• Reliable transportation not using public transit.

• Each session is a high‑energy, part entertainment, part education, hands‑on class.
• Picking up, dropping off, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching children in a classroom or camp environment.
• Friendly, flexible, dynamic and passionate about supporting children’s learning.
• Available Monday‑Friday between 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
• Reliable transportation that is not public or rideshare.
• All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks and TB tested (required).
• Some college education.
• Have a fun  outgoing personality.

We train you in the curriculum and provide all materials. Mad Science classes follow the school calendar and are presented year‑round. This is part‑time and rewarding work if it fits with your schedule and lifestyle. Compensation: $40 per workshop, 2–3 workshops daily.
