Responsibilities

• Instructional Assistance
• Project Oversight
• Project Facilitation: Actively assist Lead Teachers in delivering STEAHM-based lessons; help students execute complex projects such as engineering builds, artistic creations, or scientific experiments.
• Small Group Leadership: Lead breakout groups of K-12 students to ensure they understand project steps and safety protocols.
• Lab & Shop Safety: Provide vigilant oversight during hands-on activities, ensuring all students follow safety guidelines.
• Experiment Support: Set up, tear down, and maintain materials for daily experiments and activities across the STEAHM spectrum.
• Mentorship and Student Engagement Differentiated Support: Identify students struggling with specific concepts and provide one-on-one tutoring; coordinate open enrollment and communication.
• Engagement: Encourage student curiosity and participation; serve as a positive role model for younger students exploring higher education environments.
• Administrative and Operations Reporting: Assist the Lead Teacher in tracking student attendance and participation; provide feedback to the Program Director on project efficacy.
