Job summary

Duke Athletics in Durham, NC is seeking a part-time Sports Nutrition Assistant (19.9 hours per week, benefits ineligible) to support the Sports Nutrition Department. The role reports to the Director of Sports Nutrition and involves coordinating fueling stations, food inventory, and daily operations, while developing educational materials for teams.

Responsibilities include assisting with team meals, catering, and gameday nutrition support, and performing other duties as assigned by Sports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage fueling stations including training interns, daily operations, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Develop educational materials (social media, flyers, TV, etc.).
• Assist with team meals and catering and gameday nutrition support.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Sports Dietitians.
