Job summary

The Duke Athletics Sports Nutrition Assistant will support the Nutrition Department by managing fueling stations, training interns, and handling inventory and ordering.

This part-time role assists with team meals, catering, and gameday nutrition support, while following university policies and HIPAA standards; the candidate must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
• 1-2 years related experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and comply with HIPAA and university policies

Responsibilities

• Manage fueling stations, train and supervise student interns, oversee daily operations, inventory, ordering and receiving
• Develop educational materials (social media, flyers, TV, etc.)
• Assist with team meals and catering
• Assist with gameday nutrition support
• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by the Sports Dietitians
