Job summary

Duke Athletics is seeking a part-time Sports Nutrition Assistant in Durham, NC. The role reports to the Director of Sports Nutrition and handles a variety of operational tasks within the Sports Nutrition Department, with up to 19.9 hours per week and benefits ineligible.

Responsibilities include managing fueling stations, developing educational materials, assisting with team meals and gameday nutrition, and supporting dietitians with daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field and minimum related experience of 1-2 years.
• No experience required beyond bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage fueling stations which includes training and managing student interns, manage fueling station daily operations, food inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Develop educational materials (social media, flyers, TV, etc.)
• Assist with team meals and catering
• Assist with gameday nutrition support
• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by the Sports Dietitians
